Made with Love, Stitched by Hand

Hi, I'm Lois — the maker, quilter, and heart behind Quilty Nana.

Every bag, book sleeve, makeup bag, and wallet in this shop is handmade by me, one stitch at a time. I started quilting because I fell in love with the way fabric tells a story — the textures, the patterns, the way something beautiful and practical can come from a simple piece of cotton and a lot of care.

After retiring, I finally found my happy place as a creator. Quilting gave me a way to pour my heart into something meaningful — and Quilty Nana was born from that joy.

None of this would be possible without my husband Dave and our family, who work hard behind the scenes to keep everything running. From helping at craft fairs to handling all the things that happen outside the sewing room, they are the backbone of this little business and I'm so grateful for every one of them.

How Each Piece is Made

I work with quality cotton fabrics, soft batting, and satin ribbon to create pieces that are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. Each item is carefully cut, pinned, and quilted by hand before being finished with the details that make it truly special.

No two pieces are exactly alike. That's the magic of handmade — you're getting something made just for you (or the special person you're gifting it to).

Quilting has always been about warmth, comfort, and connection for me. I want every person who carries one of my bags or tucks a beloved book into one of my sleeves to feel that same coziness — like a little hug you can take with you wherever you go.
